Describe a perfect weather day...
A perfect weather day to me is a lot of snow. I love it when there is snow all over and it is still falling from the sky. The first thing I would do on a day like this is make a warm drink, sit on my porch and watch the snow fall. I can sit in silence watching the snow fall for hours. Next my son and I would have to build a snow man of course. After are snow man is built and we have defrosted we would have to break out the sled. Sledding is great fun for children of all ages. In between sledding we would have a snow ball fight because you can't have snow all around you and not throw any of it. When we are finished we will go in the house to warm up and have some dinner. After dinner we would probably play a board game next to a lantern because the electricity has gone out. On my perfect weather day I would live in a house with a fire place so not having electricity isn't a problem. The thing I love the most about snow days is the true quality time I get to have with my son.

Nice post Marsha. I like how you associate your perfect weather experience with spending quality time with someone important. Sounds like a fun day.
I agree playing in the snow with your child is fun. The one thing that I like about the snow or it being cold is that you can always go inside and get warm. Sitting by the fire or wrapping up in a blanket is the thing to do.
Your "Perfect Weather Day" sounds nice. It reminds me of when I was young. I grew up in the mountains so every winter I would watch the snow fall from my grandmas big glass windows and sit by the fire. And would do all the things you wrote about with my cousins.
